What is Open Play?
Already experienced with playing Mahjong? Come join us for a night of fun & Mahjong at Folklore Brewing! Bloom& Bamboo brings and sets up for a casual, unstructured Mahjong play session where players come together to play mahjong without formal instruction. It’s designed for those who already know the basics and want to practice, socialize, and enjoy the game at their own pace. Players rotate tables as necded, ask questions from Tori the Bloom & Bamboo instructor as they come up, and focus on real gameplay—rather than lessons. With free play, an instructor will be present to answer occasional questions, but the emphasis is on relaxed play, community, and building confidence through experience.
